Crowe's Buddies and Stern: Grey Knight Project Update

So I finished the firs Purifier. There is gonna be 17 More of them. 3 Squads of six, with two Psycannons, Halberds, and a Rhino I picked up Stern in a Trade from Wumby, from Wumby's Workshop. He is working on awesome Imperial Fist army ATM so go check him out and Follow his blog if you like it!

First of the NMM Grey Knights!

Today I ventured into NMM landfor the first time and ended up with this. What do you guys think?

 Still more work to be done, but This what i'll spend my time doing untill my Airbrush Nozzel arrives. Oh and sorry for the obscenely large pictures, photobuckets resize tool is being a bit moody. I need to fix the pommel and hilt of the sword but I think the blade looks awesome. Paint all the Grey Knights!

Adeptus Custodes!

Cheapest army EVAR?

how about an Adeptus Custodes army? After a little scrounging on Ebay and Spikey Bits store I gathered enough bits to build 10 Adeptus Custodes for $72.50 Counts as Paladins and If you get a model for Draigo you have a 1000 point Viable army for less than $100. Maybe not the most competitive, but its no pushover! Not to mention the models will look sick!

When You Show Me a Scratch Built Titan...

...I have to make one too! So I have decided to take on a huge project, scratch building a titan! Who knows how long it will take me to give Up but I WILL try. I'm on the lookout for cheap plasticard and PVC pipes. I have been think about what to use for the large parts I can leave of one side and fill them with expanding foam for support the shave off the top and cover it with more plastic.that way I have a lightweight but sturdy Warhound Titan. So far I have been working on the templates. I brought them into photoshop and created designs to make it not look as blocky as it is designed. Ill be arming it with two, yes two, Turbo Lasers! Of couse I will magnetize the arms and torso for easy storage. It will be painted light grey and mustard yellow. I believe that is one of the paint schemes of the Titan Legions, and it also matches my Red Scorpions quite well. If anyone knows a website where you can find plasticard cheap please do tell me I need all the stuff I can get.

Hosted, The land raider looks almost the same. However I have been working on my Daemons of Chaos. the Pink Horrors look great, but I won't be able to get a picture until this weekend.

New on the gaming side of things... I might be going to NOVA Open, probably not because its a four day trip in which i'll probably end up paying $100 to get destroyed in 8 games of 40K. I'm just not at the skill level yet, I think.

Maybe I'll do a Vassal battle report tomorrow! That could be interesting...

Whats better than a good ol' Land Raider Crusader to transport your sparky and his buddies into the fray? That would be a $30 Land Raider!



I was able to pick up a Land Raiser someone was selling for $30. Albeit this thing will require a bunch of attention, I don't mind that kind of thing. I was going to convert parts of the thing anyways so I figured if I had the Green Stuff out may as well save $36 and patch up a few holes.

First off I decided to take off everything on the front of the sides. I'll either try do a mural including the Red Scorpion icon, or I'll just do a big icon.



One of the major flaws was that there was a chunk taken out of the side sponson where it meets the tank. So to fix that I cut out some plasticard and kept fitting and shaping as necessary.



Eventually I got this, all I need to do is glue it in and smooth over the seams.
